BoriquaFest’s Attendance exceeded 10,000 with
Latin Grammy Nominated Salsa Legend Eddie Santiago performing his greatest
hits at Festival Park, located in Elgin, IL.
BoriquaFest 2007
This is our annual centerpiece event which is one-day event and open to the
general public, including all ethnicities. It is admission-free. Last year
2007, it attracted approximately 10,000 people throughout the day;
attendance increased from 3,500 the prior year. BoriquaFest is designed to
offer the general public an opportunity to learn about Puerto Rican culture.
It seeks the inclusion of anyone and everyone that appreciates and desires
to obtain a better understanding of Puerto Rican culture irrespective of
their specific ethnicity.
